NATIVE WATERCRAFT

When you are overwhelmed, sick of work, tired of driving and the overall hustle and bustle of everyday life nothing is better than a tranquil escape.  Everyone has their own version of an escape, but we suggest a Native Watercraft by Legacy Paddlesports.  Native is one of the boat companies parented by Paddlesports.

Many companies can make a product; what makes a product amazing is the extra bit of attention that goes on behind the scenes. The people behind these amazing watercrafts have lived their lives with a passion for paddling kayaks.  When there is people that truly put their hearts in to designing these kayaks, it’s not shocking that they are incredible.

Native Watercraft has a large set of goals; they strive to be the most comfortable, the easiest to use, durable and overall the best performing kayak.  The Native team always stays informed about the newest materials and techniques.  That's how they developed ideas like First Class Seating, Adapt-A-Track, Propel Pedal Drive and Ultimate Tegris kayak.  These ideas elevate the experience, add performance and increase user comfort.

Native Watercraft is based in North Carolina.  The manufacturing facility is also located there.  They continuously try to improve on their designs, manufacturing process and every other aspect of their watercrafts.

It does not matter if you want to go kayaking in salt water, white water or rivers, Native has something to suit everyone.  If you love to fish, they offer some great accessories to optimize the functionality of your watercraft.

Native Watercraft’s desire to constantly improve their company has paid off in a big way with their stand-up paddleboard called the “Versa Board.”  This is the board in the picture you see at the top of the page.  The Versa Board was recently featured in Leisure Trends for being the best selling SUP for the first four months of 2011.  The Versa Board is great for people who love to paddleboard.  It is a great board to fish from.  It is just over 12ft in length and 33 inches wide.  The board weighs 55 pounds and can hold up to 300 pounds!  The Versa Board is just one of Native Watercraft’s amazing products.
